  • Faster checkout: Check out appointments directly from your dashboard and seamlessly take payments via Square or Stripe without leaving the app. You can even link client cards on file to make getting paid a breeze. (Stripe users, your old card readers won’t work in the new app, but we have exciting news about hardware upgrades to share soon.)

  • SOAP note reminders: Create SOAP notes directly from your dashboard for any recent appointments that don’t have one yet.

  • Intake form history: View complete intake forms and stay on top of critical client details that are easy to overlook, including contraindications and medications. Need to send a new form or request an update? No problem! You can email them to clients on the spot.

  • 24/7 notifications: Don’t ever miss a schedule change alert again. Background app refresh allows you to receive push notifications even when the app isn’t open.

FAQs about MassageBook Manager

Q. Can I view a client’s intake form in the mobile app, like in the desktop version?

Yes! As of version 1.3, you can view your new custom-made intake forms and send form request emails from the mobile app.

Q. Do I need to download the new app? Or will the old app update automatically?

MassageBook Manager is a brand-new app, not an updated version of the old app MassageBook Pro. You must download MassageBook Manager from the App Store or Google Play to use it.

Q. Can I continue using the old app? Or do I need to delete it?

You can still use MassageBook Pro for now, and you’re more than welcome to do so while you acclimate to MassageBook Manager. Your account activity will update in real-time in both apps regardless of the one you’re using. However, the old app is no longer supported, and we highly recommend upgrading to the new one for the best experience. You do not need to delete MassageBook Pro to use MassageBook Manager, but you can if you’d like to free up some space on your device.

Q. Why am I receiving an error message that Square payments are not authorized?

MassageBook Manager requires new permission to take secure payments via Square. Disconnect and reconnect your Square account if you cannot take payments now. Sign in to the desktop version of MassageBook, then select Settings > Credit Card Payments to start the process. You’ll be able to take payments successfully once you establish a new connection.
