PRICING ANNOUNCEMENT: Pricing model is changing at QBC for individual practitioners

At Queer Body Collective, all our practitioners have been operating off of the same sliding scale for some time now. All of us have a deep passion for bodywork and know the importance of it. We all highly value making it as accessible as possible. However, this looks different for each practitioner. In attempting to balance this value of accessibility of ours while being able to sustain our work individually, we have decided that practitioners will determine their own pricing points.

Payment, Sliding Scale, and Cancellation Policy:
Payment will be accepted at the end of the session. Cash is requested for payments $80 and below, and generally preferred. No credit cards accepted, each practitioner has zelle, venmo, etc.

For Stana and Jo, the exchange is a sliding scale of $50 to $180 (full price $160) for an hour session and $180 (no sliding scale) for 90 minutes. 
60 mins full price: $160 (sliding scale $50-$180)
90 mins full price: $180-250 (no lower range, but option to pay more

Please read the sliding scale guide and diagram on our website to determine where you fall on the scale. Paying more supports the lower end of the model, and is greatly appreciated!

For Kai: please check the JP QBC page to determine what style session you wish to receive as well as the price points. 

Check the JP page for more info. Within Kai's practice, you can book a Relaxation massage, a Therapeutic Massage, or a Rehabilitative Movement massage and the pricing is different per style based on your goals and the exertion required from the therapist.

Therapeutic Massage and Somatic Integration Session Prices:

60 min full rate: $155 (sliding scale: $135- $185)
90 min full rate : $185 (sliding scale: $185 - $255)
120 min full rate: $255 (sliding scale: $245-$305)

Cancellation Policy with Kai: 50%-100% of the rate that you would have paid if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment.
 

If you have booked a massage or somatic session with Kai, please refer to the QBC JP page for session specificity as well as payment rate.

CANCELLATION FEE: There is a cancellation fee of 50% of what you would have paid for the massage if you cancel within 24 hours. Please let us know as soon as possible if you don't think you will be able to make your appointment. This includes if you are sick and/or if you plan to reschedule. 

Massages are in our studio on the first floor, near Central Square, Cambridge, MA 02139. The building is accessible by elevator. 

COVID: If you have sick symptoms within 3 days of your massage, please reschedule. Masks, KN95 or better, are required during massage sessions with some practitioners and are available for free in each studio.

NAMES: Please sign up for a massage with the name you would like to be called in the session. 

If you are booking a massage for your partner or friend please use their name, number, and email for the booking, not yours. We need to have the clients information. Thank you! Do not book a surprise massage without emailing us.
