I have always felt called to help others. That is why I decided to pursue my dream of being a massage therapist. I was blessed to attend and graduate from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2003. I am trained in Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Deep Tissue. My favorite special modalities learned are Craniosacral and Myofascial Release. My other therapeutic training is in Cupping, Hot and Cold Stone therapy, and Gua Sha. I am an empath and HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) which means that all my 5 senses are heightened. When giving a massage I channel the energy flow and feel along with the recipient. Using my gifts of intuition along with my education, my desire is to assist in the healing of others and help them to nurture their peaceful existence. I create balance within by practicing and teaching yoga. Yoga has been a part of my life since I was a student at East West. It has brought me peace for much of my life and I wanted to be able to share that with others. I recently completed my Yoga Teacher Training with the goal in mind to incorporate massage with yoga practice. I am trained in Vinyasa, Yin, and Kids Yoga. My passion is with my personally developed Yoga Massage asana. Look for one of my workshops to learn more or ask me at your next massage session. I’d love the opportunity to create your personalized Yoga Massage experience. Yoga Massage – Personal Session Yoga Massage is a personalized experience for peaceful healing. In your Yoga Massage session, you will ease into no more than 10 hand selected yoga poses. During your pose, I will assist you in your stretch and provide massage for the muscles activated. Yoga Massage is a gentle approach to healing your body on a deeper level than massage and yoga alone. Most poses are on the mat and are Yin based for a restorative and rejuvenating experience. Yoga Massage – Group Session Yoga Massage in a group is an inclusive experience for all bodies to encompass peace. Groups are no more than 3 people to allow for each person to experience assistance and massage. In your Yoga Massage group session, you will ease into no more than 10 yoga poses focusing on the entire body. During the poses, I will assist each of you in your stretch and provide massage for the muscles activated. Yoga Massage is a gentle approach to healing your body on a deeper level than massage and yoga alone. Most poses are on the mat and are Yin based for a restorative and rejuvenating experience.
