In a society that exists in our heads most of the time, our mission is to provide healing grounded in possibility. Yyoma Health strives to enrich lives through educational re-embodiment, massage, bodywork, movement, and healing touch. Utilizing scientific & results-based practices with acute presence, uplifted self-awareness, and health-centered engagement. The body is a miraculous healing machine and you do not need to live in pain. It is your body, and you should feel at home in it! Learn to listen to what the body is asking for through the profound health benefits of soft tissue therapy, massage, bodywork, and movement. We look forward to helping you reach your goals, both on and off the table!
Founded by Jessie Thompson, LMT. An expert in her field, Jessie has been practicing massage therapy for nearly two decades and excels in the healing arts because she is truly a wounded healer. Her vision for Yyoma Health is to help facilitate and create a thriving, inclusive health-centered community made up of unique individuals brought together by a common goal; to live lives of fearless self-acceptance with a pain-free existence.
Currently in phase one of its business plan, Yyoma Health is in process of building a solid team of diverse practitioners while continuing to learn more about wider community interests and needs as it works to develop future movement classes and health centered educational engagements.
Yyoma Health is located in the vibrant Mississippi neighborhood on the East side of Portland, Oregon. Our office is on the second floor of the Mississippi Commons Building and is accessible by stairs.
