Welcome! I'm Josiah, a Licensed Massage Therapist dedicated to helping people live better in their own bodies. My journey into the world of healing and wellness began with my own struggles with chronic pain. Like many, I experienced a sense of hopelessness before discovering the transformative power of bodywork like massage therapy, chiropractic care and acupuncture. These therapies offered me a glimpse of what a pain-free life could be like. With continued skilled care and a lot of self care, I found new levels of relief, and a sense of peaceful embodiment within myself.

Motivated by my personal experiences, I embarked on a mission to help others. It is incredibly fulfilling to guide my clients on their healing journeys, witnessing their progress and improved quality of life. 

I enrolled at the Oregon School of Massage in 2022, and while studying, I also worked as a Chiropractic Assistant. In this role, I provided massages and assisted with stretching and exercise, among other therapies. I graduated in 2023 and soon began assistant teaching Shiatsu classes, aiming to further my knowledge and share my passion by becoming a teacher.

In 2024, I proudly opened my own practice at Serenity Bodywork in Tualatin, Oregon. I am committed to making massage therapy accessible to everyone, which is why I am currently in the process of credentialing with insurance companies.

I believe a less painful and less stressful existence is possible for anyone, and I’m here to help you find it and maintain it!
