* Please Note* I am working again, but my baby is coming with me to work, so that I can start back sooner. I ask that you bear with me and the bubbs as she gets used to this new normal! Hi there! I'm Samantha Taylor and I'm a Canadian medical massage therapist transplanted here to the States! I have been massaging since I graduated in 2013. I attended the three-year massage program at Centennial College, in Ontario, Canada, where I earned an advanced diploma, with honors. Since I went to college in Ontario, Swedish Massage was just the tip of the iceberg in my education. In my second and third year, we focused on condition-specific massage, where we learned how to assess and treat injuries, postural issues, and problems sustained from lack of movement or repetitive movements, including things like carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, piriformis syndrome, and many others. Because of that, I specialize in fascial work and deep tissue massage, focusing on not just relaxing muscles, but helping to break down unwanted adhesions that prevent muscles from working properly. It helps to restore your range of motion and prevent pain from happening in the first place. I also do traditional Swedish massage, trigger point work, sports massage, craniosomatic techniques, lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, and infant massage. My clients include people who are handicapped, the elderly, athletes, perinatal mothers, or every day office workers; pretty much anyone! I was the Lead Therapist at a Hand and Stone in Cary, NC, for a few years, but I eventually moved on to start my own business, Taylored Massage. I like to give massages tailored to your needs, focusing on what is right for you, instead of always trying to upsell and work in unnecessary services. Right now, I'm only booking appointments through text, email, or in person, but I'm happy to hear from you and ready to book your appointment.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
