At Unbind & Drain Therapeutic Massage, each session is a nurturing experience designed to help clients feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to their bodies. Through a blend of deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, craniosacral, and specialized lymphatic drainage techniques (Chikly and Vodder), my goal is to support clients moving through post‑op recovery, oncology journeys, trauma healing, and everyday wellness.
My holistic philosophy guides every touch—encouraging release, restoring flow, and creating a peaceful environment where the body can unwind and heal. As an LMBT‑licensed therapist and proud ABMP member, I offer a safe, grounded space for meaningful therapeutic transformation.
I have been a practicing massage therapist since 2011, graduating from Miller-Motte Techinical College. I have spent the last ten years working for a locally owned business, Moment of Peace Massage. I spent the first seven years of my career focusing on deep tissue techniques. I thoroughly enjoyed finding the deep knots and breaking through the layers. However, I have since shifted my expertise to light touch techniques. I took an oncology course in 2015 and I was excited to learn that there was a challenge in mastering the light touch. I quickly followed oncology with lymphatic drainage and, from there, I studied craniosacral therapy.
I often described my approach to massage as Zen meets therapy. I prefer to listen to the muscles and work only as deep as the tissue will allow. I blend in slow-controlled movements so that the client may relax while the muscles are kneaded over.
