My passion for massage ignited on an extended trip to the North Carolina Mountains, over a decade ago. I ultimately decided to go to school in Asheville, and earned my certificate at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in 2013. I spent the first several years of my practice working in various spas, from the high end to the cozy bohemian, and gained so much valuable experience from them all. Seven years later I uprooted my life to move to Raleigh, and have had a solo practice ever since. I've always taken a more therapeutic approach to massage, whether my client asks for pain management, stress relief and relaxation or a mixture of both. My approach to bodywork is integrative, ranging anywhere from trigger point work and stretching to a more relaxing, flowing massage or anything in between. I like to use a bit of everything I know to create an immersive experience based on the individual needs of each person. I have even had success with very light touch trigger point work, so if you are in pain but don't like lots of pressure, I may be able to help. I also love to incorporate cupping, aromatherapy, hot stones and Tok sen whenever needed. I will listen to what you tell me. I do not take a one-size-fits all approach, and do my best to focus on your specific needs. I look forward to working with you to create a great massage experience!
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
