Hi, I’m Teresa Beam, Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of The Knotty Girl Massage Studio.

My journey into massage therapy wasn’t just about finding a career—it was about building a life that reflected who I am and what I’m passionate about. Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons of change that challenged me to start over and pursue something that truly brought me purpose. That journey led me to massage therapy, where I discovered the incredible impact that compassionate touch can have on a person’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

After graduating from massage school and proudly passing the MBLEx, I took a leap of faith and opened The Knotty Girl Massage Studio. My goal was simple: create a welcoming space where every client feels comfortable, cared for, and leaves feeling better than when they arrived.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, friends and embracing country life. Those moments remind me how important it is to slow down, be present, and take care of ourselves—lessons I carry into every massage session.

I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to massage. Every body has its own story, and every treatment should reflect that. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, carrying the weight of daily stress, or simply in need of an hour that’s just for you, I’m committed to creating a massage experience tailored specifically to your needs.
