Jena is a Wake Forest resident who has been practicing the art of massage for nearly 10 years. A background in spa experience led her to discover the therapy of massage. Unveiling such techniques changed her own body and life that once started with years of pain, for all the better. She feels incredibly blessed, to have found her life calling.
Increasing self-awareness for each person she comes in contact with is what sets her apart from the rest. She believes that educating those she works on, can not only change their day but also their life, to make a bigger difference. Futhermore, nothing quite compares to helping people naturally. Body, mind and spirit. Upon starting each session, she ensures she is going to address the specific needs of the individual at hand, while keeping open communication to ensure the highest comfortability of the client.
As a Medical Arts School graduate, she approaches each session from an anatomical perspective. Her vast range of modalities include: swedish, deep tissue, FasciAshi (barefoot massage/ashiatsu), prenatal, reflexology, neuromuscular, sports, cupping, gua sha, trigger point, medical, chair and TMJD massage.
After spending a month in Bali, in the winter of 2023, she completed her 200 YTT education with The House of Om to become a yoga teacher. There she practiced daily various forms of yoga and learned the history and philosophies supporting the practice. Graduating in January of 2024, she started teaching at a small local studio and became a RYT 200 with the Yoga Alliance in June of 2024. Later in 2025, she decided that private instruction lessons were at her hearts true calling and is so thrilled to now be changing lives this way.
Growth as a therapist and individual is something she strives for daily.
