Please note: my schedule is set to block off appointments 8 hours in advance. If it's not an emergency, please book online.  If you book online, it will prompt you to pay a 50% deposit and fill out my intake form.  You'll know that you're booked when you receive an automatic email appointment confirmation.  My scheduling software will not allow clients to book sooner than 8 hours in advance, even if my calendar shows same-day availability. I do not take walk-ins for safety reasons.  Just text me and I'll get you in asap.

ABOUT YOUR SESSION

Your session includes hot stones and hot towels.  If you are a first time client, we will do a brief consultation to go over your intake form that you filled out online.  Don't worry, you'll still get your full amount of time.  Each session is fully tailored to what you tell me you need that day.  If your sciatica is flaring up or you pinched something in you neck or back, we'll work on that.  If you want deep tissue one day and then just want to relax and nap the next visit, that's fine.  If you booked an hour, you get the full 60 minutes.  If you wanna bring your own oils, sheets, blankie, ear pods, be my guest.  This is the beauty of working with a professional in private practice, not a corporate spa.

If you would prefer cupping or gua-sha to hot stones, or no tools at all, that's fine--this is your session.  If you'd like to chat the whole time, or have total silence, or nap through your session, I will follow your lead.  No people-pleasing here.  Just tell me what you need -- no judgment.  Just please don't be a creep at me.  Your session will end and you won't get a refund.  And please wash up before your session.  With love.  Thanks!  :--D    

ABOUT ME

I've been doing this for 25 years.  I am a licensed professional and have very little patience with shenanigans.  Please do not solicit me for anything that is unbecoming of my sacred profession.  I love what I do and will not allow anyone to disrespect it.  I've worked in almost every setting -- in hotels, spas, chiropractic offices, giant malls, small malls, I've done chair massage at corporate offices, music festivals, grade schools, high schools, Farmers' Markets, hookah lounges, pool tournaments, fundraisers, funerals, weddings, receptions, private parties -- you name it.  

My specialty is hot stone deep tissue.  I love working myself out of a job by alleviating someone's chronic pain, getting them off their pain meds.  My goal for everyone is increased mobility and activity without pain.  The objective is to not need me anymore.  Most of my clients find me through word of mouth, so referrals are greatly appreciated.

My modalities include a verity of techniques I've picked up over the decades.  I use deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release techniques, lymphatic drainage, and some craniosacral work to alleviate migraines and TMJ. 

I am the resident massage therapist for two well-known theaters in downtown Aurora. I own two wellness centers in Aurora and Batavia where I have my studios, and an artists' collective / music venue.  I do have some limited weekend availability for members only, even though it says I’m “closed.” My weekends are typically reserved for chair massage at private events or festivals.

Couple’s massages are available upon request. I would need about a week’s notice to recruit another LMT within my network.  I also offer education for partner massage if you wanted to learn on your friend / spouse.  That add-on will soon be available online.  Otherwise, let me know and I'll add it to your session for $50.

My professional philosophy centers around collaboration, not competition. There’s enough work to go around for everyone. I will only work with people who share that ethos.  If you'd like to collaborate, please reach out.  If other LMTs would like to work with me or rent out my office space, please text me. I always need more hands for chair massage at the festivals.  

I've massaged tens of thousands of humans, and I love most of them.  If you have a knot or pain in a muscle in your body, I can almost guarantee that you'll feel better after your session.  My work speaks for itself, so I don't advertise much; my clients do that for me.  Word-of-mouth is the best way to help support my small business (it's just me), and to help me continue my philanthropic projects.  Thank you for your support.  <3
