My name is Joy! I’m a life-long learner and listener, with a passion for helping others. I have always had a love for the complexities of the human body and its ability to heal. Massage became the obvious channel for these ambitions. I graduated from the massage program at Gwinnet College and have certifications in Swedish, Reflexology, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Deep Tissue. This, along with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, allows for a wider comprehension of structural dysfunction. I implement caring and intentional techniques that are specific to your needs.
In my time as a massage therapist, I have found bodywork to be so much more than just a massage. It resets your nervous system, which is often overstimulated and stuck in sympathetic tone. It realigns muscular imbalances that cause cascading chains of dysfunction. It is important, and you being here, choosing this for yourself, that is a huge part of why massage is so effective. This work, that has been so much more rewarding than I ever expected it to be, is truly a gift to well-being. It is a personal honor to be a part of another's sense of peace and health. Thank you for choosing to take care of yourself, you deserve to treat yourself, and to feel better!
