Welcome to Radicle Bodywork. I’m Emily Jean (they/them), owner and licensed massage therapist at Radicle Bodywork. 

Locations

Atlanta, GA. Liminal Space in Little 5 Points on Fridays and Saturdays. I also offer mobile table and chair massage services for individuals and for events.

Education

I received my massage education at Georgia Massage School, under Laurie Craig, Carrie Corey and Shanese Armstrong. My continuing education includes MLD-Certification (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) from ACOLS, and Burn Scar Therapy. My trauma informed training comes from Jen Stovall at Terra Sylva School.

Background and Practice

My practice is partially informed by my 13 years of work in agriculture and many injuries that myself and my peers have sustained over the years, and also by my deep care of people and community. My approach with my clients draws from my experience as a community herbalist with Herbalista Free Clinic and the Harriet Tubman Foot Clinic in Atlanta. 

My primary clientele is queer community, agriculture workers, care workers and comrades. 

It is important to me that my clients are active participants in their treatment plan and understand what is happening, with consent, every step of the way. I continue to volunteer monthly with Fleur and Forage Free Clinic and other community care events around Atlanta.

Booking / Appointment information

• You will receive a confirmation and intake form to fill out before your first appointment. Please complete this at least 24hr in advance so I have time to review before your appointment.
• Fridays and Saturdays : In office at Liminal Space Collective 483 Moreland Ave NE, Suite 1 (first floor). Park in front of the building or behind, or on Mansfield. Do not park in front on market days or during events. Do not park in Sevananda parking lot.
• Mobile : Mobile massage is available for current clients and direct referrals only. Email to make an appointment. Outcalls have an add on fee of $50 per location within 30 minutes driving time. Longer commutes may have an additional fee. If there are two clients at one location, the fee can be split. Must have a 15’x10’ area for setup.

*** I wear a face mask during all massage appointments.

Events

• Event booking for chair or table massage for events, corporate, movie sets, teacher appreciation, wedding parties, etc.  Minimum of 2hrs plus a $50+ travel fee depending on location.
• Email to discuss! Prices negotiable for community care events. 

Radicle (n) is the primary root of a plant, emerging from the seed embryo, and also a play on ‘radical’. Whether you have just planted the seed of your healing, and are new to bodywork, or are just looking for a different and grounded experience, my aim is to provide the roots and groundwork for your healing and help you grow wherever you are at.
