Our bodies remember what our minds often try to move past.
Sometimes they whisper through tight shoulders, restless sleep, or lingering tension. Sometimes they demand attention through chronic pain, headaches, injuries, or exhaustion. Every experience, every season of life leaves its mark. Our bodies carry far more than we often realize.
Your body has carried you through every joy, every challenge, every loss, every long day, and every responsibility. Here, it gets to unwind, soften, release, breathe more deeply, and restore.
I’m Danielle, the therapist behind Soma’Vana. My purpose is simple: to offer more than massage. I created this space so people feel genuinely cared for the moment they walk through the door. A place where care feels personal, never rushed, and never routine.
Having lived through seasons of grief, stress, and the way life can imprint itself physically, I understand what it means to need a place where your nervous system can finally settle. A space where you can simply breathe, let go, and allow yourself to receive care without needing to hold anything together. That understanding shapes every session I provide.
My approach is intuitive and intentionally different. While my work is rooted in therapeutic massage, I don’t believe effective bodywork has to feel clinical or intimidating. I combine focused therapeutic techniques with an atmosphere of deep relaxation because I believe the best results happen when the body feels safe enough to let go. It’s possible to address pain without sacrificing comfort, and that’s the experience I strive to create every time you walk through my door.
No two bodies are the same, and no two sessions should be either.
I completed more than 750 hours of professional massage education and supervised clinical training, where I had the privilege of working with clients from many walks of life, each with unique goals and challenges. Those clinic experiences reinforced something I already believed: every body deserves to be treated as an individual, not a protocol.
Throughout my clinical training, I received consistently outstanding feedback from client reviews, not only for my techniques, but for helping people feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared for.
My foundation is in therapeutic massage, with additional training in craniosacral therapy, sports massage, cupping, reflexology, hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, and other complementary techniques. Rather than following a routine, I draw from these modalities to create a session that’s tailored specifically to what your body needs that day.
I am currently licensed to practice massage therapy in Idaho and am in the final stages of completing licensure in Washington as I continue expanding my education and refining my skills throughout my career.
Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from injury, easing the effects of stress, improving mobility, or simply needing an hour or two where nothing is expected of you, every session is designed with intention, compassion, and your individual goals in mind.
My goal isn’t simply for you to leave with less pain.
It’s for you to stand up from the table feeling lighter than when you arrived. To breathe a little deeper. To move a little easier. To remember what it feels like when your body isn’t carrying quite so much.
It is a privilege to be trusted with your care, and I look forward to welcoming you to Soma’Vana
