At Soma’Vana, healing is not something forced upon the body, but something that unfolds when the body feels safe enough to return to its natural state of balance.
The body holds deep intelligence. When given the right conditions, it knows how to soften, release, and restore itself — just like nature does. Trees do not rush growth. Rivers do not struggle to flow. The body moves the same way when it is supported with care.
Soma’Vana comes from two ideas:
- Soma — the living body, experienced from within. A body that remembers, feels, and adapts.
- Vana — Sanskrit for forest. A place of refuge, stillness, and natural restoration.
The name is also inspired by the idea of Nirvana — not as a literal translation, but as a reflection of deep inner peace and freedom from unnecessary suffering.
Together, Soma’Vana reflects a space where the body is honored, nature is mirrored, and stillness becomes medicine.
- Each session is tailored to your body’s needs using a blend of therapeutic massage, relaxation techniques, and targeted bodywork. I also offer cupping and hot stone therapy to support deeper release and nervous system regulation.
My approach is gentle, intuitive, intentional, and grounded in the belief that touch, when offered with care and awareness, can help the body remember how to heal.
I have always been drawn to helping people. I believe healthy, intentional touch is one of the most powerful ways to support the nervous system and reconnect people to their bodies in a safe and meaningful way.
I am also committed to lifelong learning in this field. I will continue expanding my training throughout my career to better serve my clients. My next step is Craniosacral Therapy training this October, with ongoing education in additional modalities as I continue to deepen my understanding of the body and its healing capacity.
Soma’Vana is a space for slowing down, softening, and returning to yourself.
