Experience & Approach
Since 2006, Anastasia Kopceuch, LMT, BCTMB, has had the privilege of helping people living with pain, injury, stress, trauma, and complex neurological conditions reconnect with their bodies through compassionate, evidence-informed care.
Her career began in orthopedic and rehabilitation massage, where she spent many years collaborating within a chiropractic and sports rehabilitation practice, developing advanced expertise in assessing movement, posture, pain patterns, and myofascial dysfunction. Over time, her understanding expanded beyond muscles and joints to recognize the nervous system as an essential partner in healing, adaptation, and wellbeing.
This evolution became the foundation of Metta Embodiment—a neurosomatic approach that thoughtfully integrates neuroscience, therapeutic touch, somatic mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and the practice of loving-kindness.
Rather than asking, "What's wrong with the body?" Anastasia begins with a different question:
"What is the body communicating?"
At the heart of her philosophy is the belief that the body is communicating, not misbehaving.
Rather than viewing symptoms as personal failures or problems to overcome, she approaches them as meaningful expressions of how the body has adapted, protected, compensated, and responded throughout life's experiences. Through collaborative exploration, she helps clients understand these patterns with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
Anastasia's work is informed by extensive continuing education in trauma-informed care, somatic mindfulness, myofascial therapy, pain science, mindfulness meditation, and nervous system physiology. Her own lived experience navigating complex neurological conditions and recovering from cervical spinal surgery has further deepened her appreciation for the remarkable intelligence of the human body and the importance of meeting every person with humility, hope, and realism.
Every session is individualized. Whether someone is seeking relief from pain, improved movement, support during recovery, nervous system regulation, or simply a safe place to rest, care is tailored to each person's unique body, history, goals, values, and comfort.
At Metta Embodiment, there is no single path to embodiment. Every person arrives with a unique body, story, culture, beliefs, identity, values, and lived experience.
Through thoughtful assessment, skilled therapeutic touch, mindful awareness, and compassionate partnership, Anastasia helps clients cultivate greater ease, resilience, and connection with themselves.
Metta Embodiment is guided by a simple philosophy:
We listen with love. We respond with kindness.

"Dear Body, I love you the way you are. I thank you for all the things you have done for me throughout my life. I respect you for all the things you do for me daily. I honor you for having the wisdom to know how to heal. I trust you to take care of me, and I will take care of you. I promise that I will always listen to you and give you what you ask for to heal and to thrive. My beloved body, I will speak to you with love and care for you as long as we are together. Thank you!"
And I said to my body softly, "I want to be your friend. It took a long deep breath and replied, "I've been waiting my whole life for this." - Nayyirah Waheed
"Respect your body when it's asking for a break. Respect your mind when it's seeking rest. Honor yourself when you need a moment for yourself."
"Blessed are the hands that find those places rarely touched with memories cleverly hiding for so long from so much. Kind are the hands that hear the stories words cannot explain, daring to soothe the hours and years of weariness or pain. Full of grace, those gentle hands that truly and deeply feel us- for we don't know how much we hurt until touch begins to heal us.-Terrah Cox"
