Other than a therapist or counselor, what other professional do you see for 60 or 90 minutes at a time? That’s the way I approach massage, and to a great extent, yoga. When you come to Aligned, you are the sole focus, and in an un-rushed fashion. We will spend the first few minutes chatting about your body, how it’s feeling, and what you have going on. Session time starts only when I place my hands on you; you receive a full 30, 60, or 90 minutes of hands-on time on the table. Then, before you leave, we have a chance to debrief, discuss any questions or review any recommendations. If you choose to get regular massages, we will develop a plan for any areas of chronic tension or pain. We can also discuss any relevant self-care options, such as stretches or self-massage options. And of course, there’s always yoga.
As a team, you and I will bring attention to your physical body, identifying areas of tension. Then, using a style all my own, I’ll work to release that stress. I incorporate a variety of modalities including but not limited to Aromatherapy, CranioSacral, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Swedish, and Thai Massage
