As a licensed athletic trainer since 2016, manual therapy has been a big part of my career. I incorporated manual therapy in to my treatment plans for injured athletes as much as possible and realized early on that it was one of my favorite aspects of my job. Looking to continue in the health and wellness field but in a different capacity, I made the switch to massage therapy and completed the massage therapy program at AACC.In addition to my associate’s from AACC, I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the George Washington University and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. I worked as the head AT at a local high school for the from 2016-2023 where I was responsible for the health and safety all student-athletes from prevention of injury through examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injury and illness. I am passionate about incorporating massage and manual therapy to aid in recovery both physically and mentally. I specialize in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, and lymphatic drainage. Additional modalities that are available for treatment are cupping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and stretching. I truly love helping people get back into doing the things that they love whether that be a sport or an activity like hiking or gardening!
In my downtime, I enjoy traveling, reading a good book, snuggling with my pup, and trying new restaurants with her hubby!
