My massage journey started while
pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from the
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I started receiving massages during my
undergraduate studies to help with a shoulder problem from competitive
swimming. After receiving them throughout my undergraduate studies and
really seeing the benefits of them, I realized it was a path I wanted to
pursue. After graduation and a family move, I enrolled in SHI Integrative
Medical Massage School in Lebanon, OH. I graduated in April of 2014 and I
am currently licensed in Wisconsin and Virginia.
I have experience working in a
variety of settings and delivering a variety of massage types. I have
worked in corporate offices, sports clubs, wellness centers, at college
sporting events, and in professional locker rooms. I have performed a
variety of massage types from relaxation, to therapeutic addressing specific
needs, to sports massage.
I believe massage is for
everyone. My passion for massage therapy is fueled by the joy of
helping my clients find relief from pain and championing health and well-being.
Whether this be through a full body massage with multiple focus areas and
integrate relaxation into it as well or we spend the whole time on one
part of your body. I like to tailor every massage session to my client’s
specific needs and goals. I specialize in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point,
and sports massage.
