After spending almost 30 years in the auto and home insurance industry, my career abruptly ended in August of 2023.  I'm grateful for the forethought of what I might like to do one day, other than insurance.  I just had the feeling that spending an additional 12 or 15 years in that industry is not what my soul wanted.  I was growing less happy day by day, month by month and year after year.  To help cope with the stress of my work from home job as a call center supervisor, I would make sure to try to get a monthly massage.  I left that table feeling so much better, and would often think when I left that I'd love a career that would bring that much mental and physical relief to others.  I eventually GOT IT!   I told myself I COULD do that!!  So when I was downsized with the other approximately 2400 associates, I KNEW what was calling me.  I was enrolled in massage therapy school within a week of losing my job!!  Class started the following month in September at Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL.  

I was finished with my school hours by the middle of July, 2024.  I took and passed my MBLX exam in August of 2024 and then the hurry up and wait game began with my IL and WI licenses. 

After I was "official" with my licensing, I started my self-employment at a local massage therapy clinic that was owned and run by one of my instructors in Sept of 2023.  As things were changing for her, and she was downsizing her office space it was apparent that I needed to find a new space and as luck would have it, she had introduced me to a wonderful chiropractor with an empty room she was looking to rent out as of Jan 2025.  In Jan of 2025, I started working for myself, in KB Chiropractic Center in Rockford.  

I have loved every minute of it, but as life throws us changes, it also has become necessary to expand my business to WI.  Through a connection I learned of a space to rent in Milton, at Emerge Wellness Studio and this is where I will start my second business location!  

Relaxation massage is my specialty, but I also am experienced with therapeutic massage, somatic massage, Craniosacral, aromatherapy, pregnancy massage, facial massage, cupping, Lomi Lomi, and gua-sha.  

Every first-time client receives the same first-time client pricing, no matter what service you select.  Your first and sometimes second visit with me helps you determine if I am the right therapist for you!  Your first visit will always be $1 a minute.  $60 for a 60-minute or $90 for a 90-minute.  

In September of 2026, I will have set hours in Milton.  Most days will be Thursdays and Fridays from 9-4 and every other Saturday from 9-2.
