ADRIEN (he/him), born and raised in the Seattle area, a graduate of Bellevue Massage school, class of 2015. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Washington, insured through the ABMP.
My journey into massage began in high school while I was making ceramic masks. I gravitated heavily toward fine art as a way to soothe my mind and find a sense of calm. One day in class, I rolled out a slab of clay and placed it onto my face, using my hands to feel out the contours and features. With my eyes closed, the simple act of using touch to explore the shape of my face was incredibly soothing.
I remember thinking: "What could I do for a living that would allow me to do this all the time?" Years later, I found my answer in massage therapy.
Throughout my career, I’ve gravitated toward techniques and approaches that promote the same sense of calm and relaxation that drew me to working with clay. Today I get to recreate that experience not only for myself, but for the people on my table.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the difference between when a client arrives and when they leave: the change can be palpable. Their body is more relaxed, their mind feels lighter and they leave with a sense of ease that wasn't there when we started. I am incredibly grateful to have such a positive impact on people’s lives, even if it's just one person at a time.
As I continued to refine my craft, I began hearing the same thing from many of my clients after their sessions: “I wish I was already home, and I didn't have to drive.” And thats when The Walking Table was born. Offering mobile services through The Walking Table satisfies my sense of adventure while allowing me to provide high quality massage in the comfort of your home.
