I began my journey into the healing arts 20 years ago, when my children were young. We had experienced a number of health crisis that just weren't able to be addressed with conventional western medicine. This led me to search for answers elsewhere and left me with a desire to take the health of my family into my own hands - quite literally! And so...my quest began for finding tools that anyone could use to improve their health and vitality. My practice is deeply rooted in a belief that one's natural state is one of wellness. The questions to ask are: why we move away from wellness, and how we might return to that state of being at ease in our own bodies. My mission is to empower clients in being their own health and wellness manager. Rather than coming from a place of my clients are broken and need fixing, I ask questions about what they can do to create an environment in their bodies and lives that would have wellness be their natural state once again. I use a myriad of modalities and techniques to facilitate a state of relaxation and healing, from deep myofascial release techniques to light touch energy release techniques, such as craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. The client who would most likely benefit from my work, is one who is invested in finding solutions together and game to be a participant in their own journey to health and wellbeing. In addition, I absolutely love providing massage just for the sheer sensory experience of giving permission to yourself to feel pampered with heart-felt touch. Yes, you are worth it!! I practice at Yobabliss, a beautiful and joyful yoga community on Mercer Island, as well as providing out-call massage service to select clientele on the Eastside (Issaquah, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Redmond) I am also providing wellness in the workplace through chair massage for employees. Workplace ergonomics and stretching tips are included.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
