As an educator, Certified Health Coach, Registered Yoga Instructor, and National Board Certified Reflexologist, I decided after my own profound reflexology experience to share this special technique with others. Reflexology is a non-invasive touch therapy that encourages the body to balance and heal itself. It involves applying touch to specific points on the hands, ears and feet. These points are called "reflexes" and they mirror the organs and structures in the body. Reflexology offers the benefits of improved circulation, reduction of stress, and an overall sense of well being. When the body is touched in a safe and caring way chemical reactions occur that send messages to the brain. These in turn give the body signals that assist in healing and calming the nervous system.
