Often people think that Reflexology is nothing more than a foot massage, but in reality, it is so much more. A Reflexology session can range from 30 - 60 minutes with the goal of helping the body achieve a state of physiological relaxation. This is done by using specialized hand, finger and thumb techniques to apply pressure to nerves and reflex points on the feet (and sometimes hands & ears) that correspond with specific glands and organs. Applying the appropriate pressure to these points helps to stimulate the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems which encourages your body to reestablish balance, so it is able to begin to heal a variety of health issues naturally.
