Stress, suppressed emotions, physical demands, injury, and habitual patterns can shape how you move, breathe, and hold tension.
Somatic bodywork combines skilled, intentional touch with attention to sensation, breath, movement, and your body’s responses. There is space for emotions to surface and move at your own pace. Sessions can address chronic tension, restricted movement or breathing, and physical discomfort, while supporting greater vitality, ease, and a deeper sense of being at home in your body.
Some sessions are focused and specific, working with areas such as the neck, jaw, shoulders, or back. Others invite you to settle into a deeply pleasurable, grounding, and restorative experience. The work can move between these approaches as your needs emerge.
I draw on deep tissue, myofascial release, acupressure, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, breathwork, and Esalen-style massage to create personalized sessions. I don’t follow a set routine with any client. My work begins with listening to your requests and primary concerns, paying attention to what lies beneath the words, and assessing your posture and movement.
My approach is guided by presence and attunement. I listen through my hands, notice how your whole body responds, and adapt moment by moment. The session unfolds through this ongoing conversation, guided by what your body needs and the change it is ready to receive.
