Hi, my name is Karen.  I'm a science and human anatomy geek or muscle whisperer. I am a Board Certified, American Massage Therapy Association member, Kinesiology taping practioner and Licensed Massage Therapist with over 5 years of experience that can feel like 10.  I have an AAS in massage therapy from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and have a previous BS degree in Marine Biology.  I offer a mix of treatments that can help with chronic pain, post injury-surgery rehab and recovery. I love serving my LGBTQ+, BIPOC and Latinx comunities. Si hablo español.  Soy de Puerto Rico.   I am experienced in trigger point therapy, craniosacral and neuromuscular therapy, as well as deep tissue, connective tissue, and sports massage. I have practiced in low resource clinics, non-profits, oncology massage clinics, sports clinics and Minnesota sports teams working hand in hand with other health care providers. I also perform cupping therapy and guasha(skin scraping) treatments. I am a true believer in self body healing and alternative/integrative care.  I love to learn new techniques and prepare individual treatment plans for each client in a calming and safe environment. I enjoy the seasons change, long days of summer, urban art, music concerts, nature, the beach (saltwater), dogs, travel, and quality time with friends and family.
