My name is Laura,
My experience with massage began at a young age as I witnessed the beginning and evolution of my aunt’s massage career. I was in awe of the relief and healing my aunt could help facilitate through massage by the seemingly simple act of touch, and I wanted to be able to do the same.
My personal experience with massage along with a helpful nudge from a close friend and fellow body worker, sparked a fire in me to pursue a career as a Massage Therapist. I was accepted into the Health Enrichment Center’s Therapeutic Massage program from which I graduated and then received my state license in April of 2022.
Since then, I have continued to deepen my understaning and knowledge of the human body by seeking out opportunities to learn from others who have mastered their craft. Through interships, trainings, and retreats, I continue to build my knowledge and skillset in order to better serve and support my clients.
I am a true believer in the mind-body connection and the body’s ability to self-heal. My own experience with massage therapy and touch has shown me the beneficial role massage plays in bringing people back into relationship with their bodies and supporting the body by helping it shift from a state of fight or flight (sympathetic dominance) back to a state of balance and optimal function in which it can heal (parasympathetic dominance).
I am beyond grateful to be part of the massage therapy community and would be honored to be a part of yourhealing journey by helping you connect with your body and feel your best!
