I am a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing out of Adrian, Michigan. I attended the wonderful Adrian School of Massage and graduated with my certificate in 2017. Before I discovered Massage Therapy, my educational background was focused primarily on psychology and other humanities studies. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Siena Heights University in 2015, and began a Master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. During this time while I was in college, I also began employment in an assisted living facility and a senior daycare program for adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Working with and taking care of senior citizens was a very humbling experience, and I became very passionate about it. As I wrapped up my first semester of graduate school, I decided to pursue an education in Massage Therapy. My background in psychology helped me to understand that in order to help people and make a difference in their health and wellness, one must understand and approach the Body-Mind dichotomy. Therapeutic touch utilized in massage therapy can have such a profound impact on a person’s wellbeing, both mentally and physically. Massage therapy soon became another passion of mine. I have now been practicing Massage Therapy for three years, and I recently began my own practice, working out of Wounded Healer Massage and Wellness in Adrian, Michigan. I am certified in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Massage, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, and Prenatal Massage. My goal as a Massage Therapist is to leave a lasting sense of rejuvenation for my clients, and help them to reach their treatment goals. Whether that is tranquil relaxation and stress reduction, relief from acute or chronic pain and muscle tension, or helping to ease the burden of mental health disorders or other conditions. The healing power of therapeutic touch is immeasurable.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
