I grew up in northeastern Kansas.  I graduated from Jefferson West High School in 1984 and ventured off to Kansas State University to learn about the natural world.  After graduating in 1988 from K-State with a B.S. in Agriculture with my major studies in Parks and Natural Resource Management, I worked for the Federal Government for 32 years as a Park Ranger.  I retired from the Federal government in 2021 and decided I was not ready to sit at home and do nothing.  I discovered that there was a massage school located in Lawrence called Wellspring School of Allied Health where I could learn about massage and get a certificate in approximately 1 year.  I decided to study massage therapy there and completed my certificate program in September of 2023.  I studied for and passed the MBLEX test in October and opened Chirapsia Rhapsody Bodywork, LLC out of my home at that time.  I have been massaging at my home at 9531 Trail Rd, Meriden since then.  I started massaging out of the Whole Health building at 100 E. Main, Meriden, KS in January of 2024.  I believe that it is better to have lower prices so that my clients can see me more often than to charge so much that they can't visit me but every now and then when they REALLY need to.  I would rather take care of issues before they become big problems.  Another thing I believe is that massage can help with more than relaxation.  So my philosophy is "Better living without chemicals.
