James Fiore is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Idaho and Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB®). Board Certification represents one of the highest professional credentials in the massage and bodywork profession and reflects James’s advanced assessment and critical-thinking abilities, commitment to professional ethics, and dedication to the highest Standards of Practice.
A graduate of The Academy for Massage Therapy Training, James excelled in the Advanced Mastery Program for Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, completing 300 clinical internship hours and earning Honor Graduate distinction. Throughout his career, he has continued to pursue advanced education in therapeutic massage, movement, recovery, and performance care, continually expanding his ability to work with athletes and active individuals.
James also holds a Master of Science degree from Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Graduate Studies. In addition, he is a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and Stretch & Flexibility Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This multidisciplinary background allows him to incorporate movement-based strategies and corrective principles into his therapeutic approach.
His approach is centered on understanding how an individual moves—not simply where they experience discomfort. James utilizes static and dynamic movement assessments to identify contributing factors and develop individualized therapeutic treatment strategies. Depending on the client’s needs and goals, sessions may incorporate clinical sports massage and soft-tissue techniques, stretching and traction, muscle scraping (IASTM), muscle flossing, cupping therapy, and kinesiology taping. Each session is intentionally designed around the individual, their activity demands, and their desired outcomes.
With more than 20 years of experience as an athlete, including running, cycling, Jiu-Jitsu, and strength training, James understands firsthand the physical demands of training and the importance of effective recovery. His personal experience as an athlete, combined with his professional education, gives him a unique perspective on helping clients train smarter, recover more effectively, and maintain their ability to perform.
James believes massage therapy can be an important part of a comprehensive approach to movement health, recovery, performance, and longevity. His work is designed not only for competitive athletes, but also for weekend warriors, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals who simply want to move and feel better.
Beyond his professional work, James is a husband and father, proud military spouse of 20 years, and a Christian at heart. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, hiking, cycling, and staying active.
His mission is simple:
Help people Move better. Recover better. Perform better.
Whether in sport, fitness, or everyday life, James is committed to providing purposeful, individualized care that helps people stay active, capable, and doing the things they love.
