Hi, my name is Peter Schwartz. I wanted to get into massage therapy for a number of reasons. A few of the most important reasons were I was looking for a job I could do all year long, in pretty much any place I wanted to live, and no matter what the weather was outside, I could always have comfortable working conditions. I wanted to be able to work from home and be near my future family as much as possible. Also I wanted to help people. I think the idea of people coming to me in pain and being uncomfortable, and leaving feeling refreshed and physically amazing, is a really great thing. I went to Houston, Texas in September of 2019 and joined the Texas School Of Massage. Once I had completed their 500 hour program, I decided to move back to my home state of Iowa to practice massage therapy there. The state of Iowa requires completion of a 600 hour course, so I had to go to the Dancing Prairie Massage Therapy College in Coralville, Iowa to get 100 more hours of study. I graduated from Dancing Prairie in December of 2020, and am now licensed and ready to start my career of helping people feel amazing!
