I’ve always believed that the body has an incredible ability to heal when it’s given the right support. That belief led me on a lifelong journey into holistic health, where I’ve dedicated myself to studying natural medicine, therapeutic bodywork, movement, and nutrition to help others restore balance and improve their quality of life.
My path began with years of independent study in herbal medicine and exercise science, which eventually led me to become a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Licensed Massage Therapist. Wanting to deepen my understanding beyond Western approaches, I spent more than three years training under the mentorship of Dr. A.D. Israel, Doctor of Oriental Medicine. During that time, I studied the foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), herbal energetics, and received hands-on training in Tui-Na, meridian therapy, acupressure, and holistic treatment methods that continue to influence the way I care for my clients today.
It was through this mentorship that I was given the name “Chi Sun,” a name that represents the vitality of Qi and the nourishing warmth of the sun. That name became more than a title—it became the philosophy behind my practice and the inspiration for Chi Sun Holistic Healing.
Every session I provide is personalized to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. By integrating modern anatomy with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I create treatments that may incorporate therapeutic massage, myofascial techniques, cupping, gua sha, acupressure, stretching, and other modalities based on what your body needs that day.
In addition to bodywork, I formulate handcrafted herbal blends through Chi Tree Botanicals, combining traditional herbal wisdom with modern knowledge to support the body’s natural healing processes. Whether through therapeutic massage or botanical formulations, my goal is the same: to help people move better, feel better, and take an active role in their long-term health through personalized, natural care.
