Lisa has been on a journey of transformation toward the healthiest version of herself for many years. Her own struggles with physical, psychological, and spiritual pain led her to open her business, Transformational Techniques, in 2014. Through massage therapy and wellness coaching, Lisa empowers her clients toward a healthier version of themselves. Lisa began her journey into helping others find wellness solutions and manage their pain at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado where she studied Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, chair massage, joint range of motion, the 10 Series of Rolfing, Chinese meridian dredging, acupressure, functional medicine manual therapy techniques, and joint mobilization for two years. After graduation and licensing, Lisa went on to become a teacher there for five years until the institution closed due to the pandemic. She attends regular continuing education to improve and advance her manual therapy skills in cranial (craniosacral therapy) osteopathy, visceral manipulation, and functional medicine techniques. Since the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado’s closure, she quickly enrolled in the Lifestyle Medicine BA program at MSU Denver. As a Lifestyle Medicine Wellness Coach, she is helping individuals become their best selves while preventing and reversing chronic illness. Lisa utilizes hands-on massage therapy techniques and wellness coaching to help her clients organize their bodies, minds, and souls by providing pain relief, helping them reach their wellness goals, and encouraging self-efficacy and advocacy. When Lisa isn’t helping you become your best self, she enjoys live music, camping, hiking, pilates, spinning, and biking.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
