I began my journey into the healing arts in 1984, as I was recovering from my own health crisis. I became committed, at that time, to helping other people realize that healing involves much more than what allopathic medicine can do. I believe the medical model is important and necessary, but doesn't always have all of the answers and sometimes has none of them. I encourage my clients to work with their medical practitioners and work with alternative practitioners simultaneously. The term I like is complementary, rather than alternative. I believe touch is an important part of healing, as is emotional wellbeing. I also believe you cannot separate the 2. In my practice, I combine touch, essential oils, hypnotherapy and coaching to help my clients find balance in their usually stressful lives. This is where I believe healing happens.
