At Joy Enrichment Services, I believe every older adult deserves moments of comfort, calm, and heartfelt connection. My massage services are thoughtfully designed for seniors—especially those in memory care—who benefit most from gentle touch, emotional presence, and a soothing environment where they feel truly seen and cared for.

Hi, I’m Susan Powell, a massage therapist and wellness educator with over 30 years of experience. My work blends professional expertise with deep personal understanding. My journey caring for my father through Alzheimer’s taught me an essential truth: even when memory fades, the heart still feels. Gentle touch, a calming voice, and shared moments of ease can bring profound comfort and joy.

Each session is unhurried, respectful, and tailored to meet your loved one exactly where they are, clothed or unclothed.  Through nurturing bodywork, sensory soothing, and nervous system calming techniques, I create a peaceful experience that supports relaxation, dignity, and emotional well-being.

Note:  I am available for Mobile sessions wherever your loved one lives.  If you are booking a session in my home studio, my furbaby, the very friendly Ollie the cat, lives with me (although he is not allowed in the massage room). I share this for those who are allergic to cats.
