My name is Amber Thompson and I have been a Certified Massage Therapist for 16 years now and every day I love it more. There are so many different techniques to know that I will always be learning new ways to help people. Getting people out of pain and back to doing what they love is my ultimate goal for every client. I want to figure out how the muscle dysfunction happened so I can keep it from coming back.

I have had a passion for massage ever since I can remember. I am blessed to have an aunt who is a massage therapist and she inspired me from an early age. She would give my sisters, mom, and myself massages and would always show me techniques and encourage me to learn. I went to massage school in 2008 at Fair Oaks Massage Institute. After school I started working at Zen Spa in Roseville. Over the years I learned different massage techniques, some at Fair Oaks Institute and others at Healing Arts Institute.

Recently I completed the Neuromuscular program at National Holistic Institute College of Massage in 2018. I learned Orthopedic assessments, posture and gait analysis, and the pain referral patterns trigger points can create. With this knowledge my massages have become much more effective.
