Hi, I’m Kristen, owner and Licensed Massage Therapist at Bloom Wellness.
My journey into massage therapy started long before I ever stepped into massage school. Growing up, my dad was always telling me I had "strong hands" and encouraged me to consider becoming a massage therapist one day. When I started exploring the profession, I attended an open house at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in Seattle. Seeing firsthand how much knowledge massage therapists have of the human body—and how they can truly help people heal—completely changed my perspective. I knew I had found what I was meant to do.
I graduated from Cortiva Institute in 2010 after completing an extended 1,000-hour massage therapy program. Since then, I've continued expanding my skills through continuing education in massage cupping, prenatal massage, and spa modalities.
Over the past 16 years, I've worked in chiropractic offices, day spas, and luxury spas, caring for a wide variety of clients with different needs. Those experiences have shaped my approach to massage and allow me to create treatments that are both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.
I specialize in therapeutic deep tissue massage, massage cupping, and prenatal massage. Every session is thoughtfully customized to help relieve pain, reduce stress, restore movement, and support your body's natural ability to heal. It still amazes me how the body responds when it's simply given the chance to slow down and receive intentional care.
Opening Bloom Wellness has been a dream years in the making. My desire is to create a space where you feel welcomed, heard, and genuinely cared for from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, support during pregnancy, or simply time to rest from the demands of everyday life, I'm honored to be part of your wellness journey.
The massage table is still one of my favorite places to be. It fuels one of my greatest passions—helping people. The connection that's built with each client during a session is something that's hard to put into words, but it's one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Sixteen years later, I can honestly say I still love this profession just as much as I did when I first started. My hope is that every client leaves feeling lighter, restored, and better able to flourish in everyday life.
When I'm not in the treatment room, you'll usually find me spending time with my boys, baking, or enjoying the beauty of the Wenatchee Valley we are blessed to call home.
I look forward to welcoming you to Bloom Wellness and helping you Rest. Restore. Flourish.
