Welcome to Sattva Healing Arts, based in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle!
I will be traveling until JANUARY, 2025 to India and across the United States on tour with my spiritual teacher of Bhakti Yoga from India. I am currently not taking appointments until next year, but look forward to seeing you all then!
Until then, I highly recommend my colleague Irene Malloch with Four Leaf Healing Massage in the University District, just off "the Ave". https://www.fourleafhealing.com/
My name is Kaitlin, and I go by my yoga name, Krishna Priya. I'm enthusiastic about bringing you the benefits of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, Yoga, Ayurveda and Energywork with lasting benefits for mind, body and spirit.
My massage work can be as simple as a relaxation massage, to working with pain and injury recovery, to treatment of more complex chronic health issues and maintenance, to an exploration of holistic mind-body-spirit work. My massage & bodywork sessions are founded in structurally-specific Swedish and/or Deep Tissue Massage; they are Myofascially, anatomically and energetically-conscious, and informed by the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga about the body-mind-spirit connection.
I use a combination of western medical/manual therapy techniques from Sports Massage and Injury Treatment/Medical Massage, in addition to intuitive energy work and incredible therapies from eastern traditions such as Ayurveda, Acupressure, Reiki, Pranic Healing, and Thai Yoga Massage. I find this creates a powerful combination of providing some relief for what's happening now, and facilitating a deeper dive to unwind and release subtle energies in the body that can lead imbalances that later manifest into the physical. In this way, the interdisciplinary services I offer can both be a powerful ailment for your current musculoskeletal issues as well as beautiful wellness work and preventative care.

About Private Yoga + Ayurveda Wellness Coaching
I'm excited at your interest in learning yoga, or further developing your current practice! Yoga is a special gift of true inner and outer transformation. It is really unlike any other form of exercise to balance your inner self; relieve aches and pains in the body; and give strength, flexibility and alignment in the body naturally, allowing you to move throughout life with grace and ease. It is also an incredible tool for self growth, exploration, connection, stress-relief, and finding your balance and peace in today's hectic world.
I pair my Private Yoga sessions with Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching to make your yoga practice more customized and balanced for your specific constitution.
The first session begins with a questions and conversation about your current daily life, your current lifestyle habits, your struggles as well as strengths, and your goals for improvement. From there I develop custom yoga session plans to help bring you into greater harmony and balance according to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom.
Custom lesson plans can include:
- Additional Ayurvedic Coaching, with a focus on lifestyle change & wellness through improving simple daily habits and routines
- Yoga for Ayurveda- using specific poses to balance the gunas, or qualities, in your current physical/mental/emotional state. Poses I use include Alignment-based Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga
- Pranayama (breathing exercises) for balancing according to Ayurveda
- Mantras
- Mudras
- Yoga Philosophy
- Yoga Nidra and/or Guided Meditation
- Mindfulness techniques
