I was born in Honolulu on the island of O'ahu and raised in the neighborhood of Kalihi. I am the youngest of six siblings. I was fortunate to be raised by amazing parents who instilled in me the values of respect, hard work, service, and the importance of "Pule"—prayer. For our family, prayer was our daily way of expressing gratitude to God for everything we had. From the age of eight, I spent every summer on the island of Maui, where I would visit my Tutu wahine (grandmother) Helen Kuoha in the small town of Ke’anae. It was here that I first encountered the art of Lomilomi, a practice that would go on to shape my life. With over 30 years of experience in massage therapy, I have had the privilege of working at some of the most renowned spas and resorts, as well as running my own practice. For ten years, I was the head massage therapist at the world-renowned Green Valley Resort and Spa, ranked #3 by Travel and Leisure Magazine. During my time there, I was the most requested therapist at the resort. I have also worked at several other distinguished spas in Hawaii and Utah, including the Sundance Spa, the Grand Summit Hotel, Entrada Country Club, and the Westin Maui Resort. My diverse clientele includes athletes, celebrities, and even royalty from across the globe. In addition to my hands-on work, I served as the Director of Education at SDI, School of Massage Therapy, where I used my experience, skills, and intuition to train and certify aspiring massage therapists. Being born and raised in Hawaii, I had the honor of learning and mastering Lomilomi, the traditional Hawaiian art of massage. As a member of Ahahui Lomilomi Association(ALH), I am recognized as a Kumu Lomilomi, or teacher of the art, and included on the Kupuna Panel. Now, with over three decades of experience and a deep connection to my cultural roots, I am dedicated to helping others lead healthier, pain-free lives through the healing art of massage.
