Massage chose me, I did not choose massage. In 2006 my sister had a medical accident due to a pain injection gone bad. She became physically and mentally handicap from said accident. One night I was massaging her feet at the nursing home and it hit me that I was supposed to go to school for massage. That night I went home, looked up local massage colleges and requested information. The next day the school called me and I went in to look at the school, I signed up that day and class started 2 weeks later. I fell in love with massage and became State and Nationally Certified. I started working up in Park City, UT doing house calls for Massage Express. I then went on to work on building my own practice in Orem, UT. I ended up moving to California, where I got my license and worked for a chiropractor for a short time out there. Upon moving home I took a break from massage, doing enough to keep my license. After having children I quit my "comfort" job at Costco and decided to get back into the massage business. I picked up a couple hours a week at Berkana Bodyworks to get out of the house but when COVID hit business also took a hit. My husband then went to work building me my dream massage room. August of 2020 I opened my doors to my haven of healing and have been serving clients since. My father was recently hospitalized for months before he passed away. During that time I took a step back from my regular clientele so I could serve him. Learning more about Oncology massage and the many wonderful benefits of human touch. Being able to serve him in his final days was the greatest honor and helped me realize how important massage and human touch is. I hope you will allow me the honor of showing you how healing it can be.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
