Joseph Kulick, LMT, CLT, is the owner and founder of This Massage Place in Phoenixville, PA. His work focuses on personalized therapeutic massage and bodywork designed to reduce discomfort, improve mobility, support recovery, and help clients feel and move better.

Joseph takes a nontraditional approach to massage therapy. Rather than following the same routine for every client, each session is adapted to what the client is experiencing that day. Depending on the client's goals, a session may incorporate therapeutic massage, myofascial techniques, neuromuscular therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, stretching, cupping, Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, and other methods within Joseph's training and scope of practice.

Joseph is a Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. He graduated from Cortiva Institute's massage therapy program in 2017 and has continued to expand his education in therapeutic and specialized bodywork.

His experience also includes teaching massage students anatomy and physiology, business and ethics, and massage techniques at Cortiva Institute.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Joseph spent approximately 20 years in the IT industry and served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Ultimately, he chose to pursue a career centered on helping people through massage therapy.

Joseph believes there is no such thing as a "regular massage." Bodies change from day to day, and massage should change with them. His goal is to create an individualized experience that can be therapeutic when needed, relaxing when appropriate, and always centered on the needs and comfort of the client.

At This Massage Place, your session is your time. Your only responsibility is to breathe.
