Prevent and recover from injury
Support your body's natural process to prevent and recover from injury.
Consider massage therapy when:

- Pre- and post-natal care
Together we'll craft a treatment plan to support your long-term healing.
Healing starts with inclusion
I use my education and techniques to create a space in which your body can heal itself. I strive to make a practice that's body-positive, fat-positive, comfortable and accessible to people of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
Training & Experience
I have over 1,000 hours of formal training and 13 years of practice
I graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY in 2010. I use my knowledge of movement as a professional dancer to help you better understand your body.
Massage Techniques
I integrate multiple massage techniques to craft the best session for your goals
Techniques I draw from include:
Myofascial / Deep Tissue
Massage techniques that rely on slow and deep pressure strokes to release bound areas of fascia (connective tissue) that line the muscles.
Trigger Point Therapy
The release of trigger points - knots in the muscle fibers with radiating pain - through slow, deep, and sustained pressure.
Swedish Massage
A massage that increases circulation and supports muscle recovery and health. Characterized by kneading and gliding strokes.
Shiatsu
Traditional Japanese massage on a floor mat. A combination of acupressure points and passive stretches. Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian system.
Reiki
Japanese form of energy work that can be performed with or without touch.
Cupping
The use of vacuum cups to create suction at points of tension or energetic stagnation. Lifting muscle, fascia, and skin away from the body creating stretch and increased circulation.
Active Isolated Stretching
Therapist-assisted stretches for particular muscle groups to improve range of motion and flexibility
Prenatal, Post-natal & Infant Massage
Specialized techniques to support pre and post-natal bodies. Infant massage techniques taught to parents to support sleep training, bonding, and colic.
Trauma-Sensitive Massage
Sessions crafted to treat the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in collaboration with the clients specific needs and experience of triggers.
Polarity Therapy
Energy work with touch that encourages awareness of the flow of energy through the body's poles and limbs.
It’s okay if you don’t know exactly what techniques you are most interested in when you book! We’ll figure out together what combination of massage techniques will work best for you before we start.
