Do Centro da Mae Terra brings forth the visions of our elders to strengthen our traditional cultures, the wisdom of medicinal plants and ancestral healing practices of the peoples of the Atlantic Forest in Brasil. With the purpose of rescuing the autonomy and sovereignty of traditional life, keeping alive our sacred knowledge of indigenous healing arts, self-care/community rituals and the powerful relationship between healing and nature.

Our indigenous healing arts center also creates space for healing talk circles, as well as developing courses and experiences to share ancestral knowledge and the memory of our families.

Within the Center of the Earth there is a dance, which teaches us the whole story of creation, the dance of nature, the principle of our life here. In each of our cycles we receive teachings from our ancestors, passed from generation to generation, the greatest of them all is the love and care for our nature.

Mother Earth is an indigenous woman, who creates and births her identity, culture, millenary tradition, roots and fruits straight from her womb and teaches us her ways.

Wherever we are, the ground transforms underneath our feet, we leave our marks as we pass through this life, so the next generations can also walk here in a symbiotic relationship to the forest.
