I’ve been a practicing bodywork therapist for over 16 years with over 1500 hours of training. I work intuitively using a combined focus on rehabilitative structural-based work with relaxation. Through my hands on work, I encourage movement and ease in your body to re-organize holding patterns and repair tissues from injuries such as frozen shoulder, repetitive stress, back pain, and sciatica. I work and release the specific trigger points as well as help to realign and release the myofascial connective tissues that are related to holding patterns within ones body. I aim to provide care holistically through understanding the full connectivity of our ourselves in our bodies.
My background in addition to my original bodywork training is eclectic and varied. I have taught Yoga in small groups, taught infant massage, and studied movement through various practices over the years. I also have a passion for languages and graduated with a degree in Sign Language Linguistics at Gallaudet University in 2016. Currently, I have completed my Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, and am on my way to certification.
