Method Therapeutics is a private massage therapy and structural integration practice in Beachwood, Ohio, founded by Tristina Silva, LMT, with 18 years of hands-on experience.
Method Therapeutics was created to make room for deeper assessment, thoughtful treatment planning, and responsive care that cannot come from a one-size-fits-all session. The practice is built on one principle: effective bodywork must be individualized. No two bodies carry the same history, adapt in the same way, or require the same approach.
Every new-client appointment begins with a 15–30-minute body assessment before hands-on treatment. This time is used to review your relevant health history and goals, observe posture and movement, and identify patterns in how your body holds tension, compensates, and organizes itself. Please complete your digital intake form before your visit and arrive 15 minutes early. Depending on the complexity of your presentation, allow up to 30 additional minutes for your first appointment.
The assessment establishes a bodywork baseline and informs treatment but does not constitute a medical diagnosis. Your selected hands-on session time is fully protected.
From there, the work is guided by clear communication and by how your body responds in real time, not by a predetermined routine. Technique, pressure, pace, and focus are selected deliberately for you.
Structural integration is the foundation of the practice. This approach works with fascial relationships and movement patterns to address how the body organizes itself, bears load, and moves as a whole. Depending on your needs, sessions may also incorporate therapeutic and deep-tissue massage, Swedish techniques, myofascial and trigger-point work, PNF stretching, cupping, instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization (IASTM), red-light support, lymphatic techniques, and other appropriate tools.
Specialized prenatal and oncology massage, as well as postoperative massage when medically appropriate, are also available. Sessions may focus on persistent tension or discomfort, restricted mobility, injury recovery, athletic performance and maintenance, stress, or deep relaxation.
Method Therapeutics approaches the body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of isolated symptoms. Structure influences movement. The nervous system influences how the body receives and responds to touch. The goal is not to force change but to understand the pattern and work intelligently with the whole system.
Science informs the reasoning. Experience refines the approach. Your comfort, consent, and feedback guide the work.
If you are seeking thoughtful, individualized care rather than a standardized massage, begin with a Foundation Session designed to understand how your body holds tension, moves, and responds.
