Meet Melissa Silcox, LMT
I’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 11 years, with a deep-rooted passion for healing and helping others. I hold an A.A.S. degree in Massage Therapy and Integrated Healthcare from Finger Lakes Community College, and I’ve had the privilege of working in the Victor, NY area throughout my career—serving clients in salons, spas, wellness studios, and chiropractic offices. For the past year, I’ve proudly operated my own private practice.
Every massage session I offer is fully customized to your unique needs. You won’t find options like “Swedish” or “Deep Tissue” when booking, because I believe effective bodywork often blends multiple techniques in a single session. Whether you’re seeking pain relief, relaxation, or targeted treatment, I tailor each experience specifically to your body, your pain, and your goals.
My Philosophy
Massage should be equal parts relaxing, rejuvenating, and results-driven. I want you to leave feeling not just better—but amazing. If you’re dealing with multiple trouble areas, I recommend a longer session for more thorough work. Please don’t hesitate to text or email with any questions—I’m always happy to connect.
How It All Began
My journey into massage therapy started in my teen years, when I worked alongside physical and occupational therapists supporting children and adults with physical and mental challenges. I saw firsthand how even short bodywork sessions could spark powerful emotional and physical transformation. Those early experiences left a lasting impression and inspired me to pursue massage therapy as a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Beyond the Table
I took a break in the middle of my career to grow my family and enjoy precious time with my three amazing boys—my greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.
Now, with over a decade of experience and more than 80 hours of continuing education, I bring a refined skill set to my practice. My specialties include:
Trigger Point Therapy
Prenatal Massage
Adolescent & Geriatric Massage
Oncology Massage (Breast Cancer Recovery)
Frozen Shoulder & Piriformis Syndrome
Pre- and Post-Operative Massage (shoulder and hip recovery)
I also incorporate Cupping, Gua Sha, and Hot Stone therapy to further enhance your session.
A Note on Professionalism
I take immense pride in the work I do and the trust my clients place in me. My practice is rooted in professionalism, safety, and respect.
Any inappropriate or sexually suggestive behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and will be reported to
