I've spent much of my life asking my body to keep up, from my time in the Army to an active lifestyle, athletics, work, and simply the demands of everyday life. I've learned firsthand that our bodies can carry us through some incredible things, but they also remember everything we ask of them.
As I've gotten older, I've experienced the changes that come with time: the stiffness that wasn't there before, the longer recovery, and the little aches that can slowly start to change the things we enjoy doing.
Those experiences are a big part of why I became a massage therapist.
I don't see massage as something reserved for people who are hurting or as a luxury for people who have extra time. I see it as one way we can learn to listen to our bodies, take care of ourselves, and stay connected to the lives we want to live.
My goal is simple: to help you feel a little better in your body, a little more connected to yourself, and a little more able to do the things that bring you joy.
Every body. Every season. Every person. You are welcome here.
Know someone who just 's massages?
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
