My bodywork style incorporates elements of trigger point therapy, myofascial release, positional release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, traeger method, muscle energy therapy, and extensive training in the traditional martial art of Aikido. As a Massage Therapist I am able to engage my passion and understanding of the human form with my drive to help people heal and relive tension in their bodies and minds. I began training in massage therapy with martial arts practice in 2001, and formalized my training in 2004. I found the Anatomy and Kinesiology courses fascinating, and continued my training to earn a Bachelor's degree in Health Ecology. While training Aikido extensively from 2004 until 2012, I integrated that experience into my massage practice with profound results. I have found that massage and bodywork can have a significant impact on chronic injuries, and that with proper treatment many individuals can find relief and continue to enjoy activities that bring them peace and prosperity.
