I wanted to share a little about myself, who I am, what I enjoy, and how I became a massage therapist
I was born and raised in Colorado, spent a few years living in Tennessee, and now I live here in Minnesota. I feel really blessed to have experienced the beauty of each of those places — the snow-capped peaks of the Colorado Rockies, the lush green fields and forests in Tennessee, and the four beautiful and distinct seasons we get in Minnesota.
When I’m not giving massages, you’ll probably find me out on a walk, enjoying God's beautiful creation, or planning my next trip. I’ve visited 37 states and four countries outside the U.S. I’m always looking for any excuse to explore new places and talking my friends into being my travel buddies.
My interest in massage therapy started when I was much younger. I remember seeing people around me deal with neck and shoulder pain or headaches, and I’d try to help even though I didn’t really know what I was doing yet. When they told me they felt better — and that their headaches even went away — it made me feel good that I was able to help them. A few people encouraged me to look into massage therapy as a career, and the more I thought about it, the more interested I became in pursuing that career.
While living in Tennessee, I started checking out massage schools near me. I toured one that really stood out — they even let me shadow a class and receive a full-body massage. This was my first professional massage ever, and I remember going home feeling so relaxed that I fell asleep immediately (which never happens for me!). That experience has always stuck with me. Since then, I knew that I wanted the opportunity to help someone feel this way and be able to find rest.
Not long after, God brought my family and me to Minnesota. I eventually found Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where I began the Therapeutic Massage program and graduated. My time there taught me so much about anatomy, technique, and the importance of caring touch — and I’m still learning every day. I am now figuring out how to navigate owning my own business with the help of the Lord and my parents, who have been a huge support to me throughout this whole process. I appreciate all they've done.
As a massage therapist, my goal is simple: to provide a place where people can come and leave feeling better. Whether that means easing their tension, reducing pain, promoting relaxation, or receiving more focused therapeutic touch. I love being able to make a difference in someone’s well-being and help them feel cared for.
Know someone who just 's massages?
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
