Our goal is to provide a positive student clinic experience for both the client and student. To forward our goal of graduating therapists who are highly employable and well-prepared for creating successful massage practices wherever they may go. Clients can expect an instructional presence in the clinic room so the faculty can assist at the tables when students need help with techniques or assistance with questions as they arise. 

With several faculty members on the Student Clinic team, the public will be able to experience the only student clinic in North Central Florida with an enhanced and dedicated therapeutic presence intended to benefit wellness for all.

The student Clinic offers a one-hour relaxation massage for the purposes of providing an opportunity for students to exercise classroom theory and practice massage therapy skills on individuals from the general public.

As a client, you will have a brief interview with your student therapist before and after your session. The pre-session exchange will cover any questions about your current and past health, and what type of treatment might be best for you. The post-session interview I'll allow you to give feedback to your therapist about the massage therapy treatment you received. This feedback portion does not reflect on the students grade and is intended to help them grow as a therapist.

The massage therapy session takes place in a semi-private atmosphere with soft music and dim lights to help foster relaxation. Our treatment room is divided into separate treatment rooms by curtains so that you will not be visible to other clients during your session.

Please understand that our students may not be able to honor all clients requests, however your therapist will try to be sensitive to your specific needs.  

Please Consider:  When receiving massage please respect the general courtesy of keeping voice levels low in order to foster an environment for relaxation.

We ask that you please turn off or silence your cellphone during the actual treatment time as a courtesy to those around you.

Appointment times: Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays - 3:00pm, 4:30pm and 6:00pm.

Price

1 Hour massage = $33.00

Please allow 15 minutes for intake before the session and 15 minutes for feedback after the session. 

Total time is 90 minutes.

*Clients are required to complete an intake form each visit. The intake forms are retained by the student-therapist for educational purposes.*

**Clients are able to log into their Massage book accounts and cancel their appointments. Appointments cancelled before 24hrs of appointment time will have a store credit issued back to your account for future appointments.**
